Helped contain the August Cuesta Grade fire that burned 2,400 acres in an area that had not been burned in 30 years and caused evacuation of parts of Santa Margarita.

This project re-routed the Santa Ynez River to protect farm land from erosion. State of the art erosion control measures were implemented using willow baffles and willow mattresses. The river was moved to protect the land. Work was completed while the river was actively flowing. Click images to view picture gallery
Setiment removal of 2000 yds and a concrete headwall constructed for emergency over flow. Armorflex installed over fabric with concrete poured ontop. The old CMP spillway was slip lined with new PVC. The container was pre fabricated off site. A hole was excavated and then leach rock and a drain pipe were installed around the structure. The structure was then waterproofed, covered with filter fabric, and then back filled with native material. Click images to view picture gallery
